I teach the purity and the light of it. I teach the innocence and goodness that it has on our mind, body and spirit. I teach what Bikram yoga started out as service to all who seek growth, balance and purity of body, mind and spirit.

Bikram yoga is a type of yoga that involves a sequence of 26 set poses and 2 breathing and is usually done in a heated room at or above body temperature. The poses are from classic hatha poses and are designed to "systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood to 100 percent of your body, to each organ and fiber."

Bikram yoga yields many benefits, including flushing toxins from the body through sweating, and even helping with weight loss. Additionally, the hot temperature improves blood flow and helps oxygen reach muscle tissue, which may make practitioners more flexible.

Studies have shown that a regular yoga practice can help lessen back pain, sharpen the mind, improve mood and even lower blood pressure. Toxins are flushed out by sweating, the liver and the kidneys, and are removed through urination or bowel movements.

Why yoga? Yoga is union.  Yoga is union to yourself.  Yoga helps us to connect to ourselves.  Yoga through movement, holding it in stillness and noticing the breath and relaxing creates awareness. This awareness leads to union with yourself, connects you to yourself.
